Dope Stars Inc.
The Ultrawired.
Not it’s time to change the climate, it’s time to calm down our shocked brains. After the first times of the 12th song "We Are The New Ones" my jaw dropped with joy and delight and this feeling hasn’t left me until the last song. Those songs are well balanced, a bit slower with the leading melody and this time the main vocal is enriched by backup singing of the rest of Dope Stars musicians.
To sum up, the album is very well prepared, full of energy, without toxic traces, despite an apparent chaos it’s perfect from the production point of view, it doesn’t have weak points. However, this is what we always expect from such artists who set music trends with their albums and somehow control various tastes of listeners and fans.

Cracking the power - text
We are virtual & real
We are the hope
once the network gave to people the right to talk
Get ready to fight
Cause their rage will grow
They're gonna get a lot of people to kick your bone
An entire earth is looking to change mind
with photo cameras and machine voice
It's better you realize
It's better you know
We're a mass of geeks ready to fuck you
Words on a web map
shine like a new sun
moves from the backyard
cracking the power
words on a web map
bright like a new gun
firing on net pows

It's a mechanical oblivion
to block their doors
when you never give to people the right to talk
they're just so polite
and they love their groove
when systematical corruption just make a boom
An entire earth is looking to change mind
with photo cameras and machine voice
It's better you decide
It's better you know
We're a mass of geeks ready to fuck you
Words on a web map

Ultrawired
2011 studio album by Dope Stars Inc.
Ultrawired is the fourth studio album by Italianindustrial rock band Dope Stars Inc. Similar to many of their previous albums and EPs, Ultrawired was produced by Victor Love. Rather than release the album commercially, the band released it as a free download on the band's website and advertised it heavily on The Pirate Bay. Ultrawired marks a new phase in Dope Stars Inc.'s career since the members possess complete artistic freedom over the album and are solely responsible for its distribution. Rather than depend on revenue from record store sales, the band encourages fans to show their support through voluntary donations, tweets, or simply by sharing and distributing the album among their friends.
Background
The band was initially expected to begin working on future projects sometime in 2010. Rather than continuing to use a drum machine for albums and live performances, the band is planning to hire a real drummer for their future projects.
In early 2011, the band released the single "Banksters" online with artwork and a remix by the band Angelspit. No official music video was made, but several fan-made videos were endorsed by the band and posted on their website. In March 2011, the band announced the title of their fourth album, Ultrawired, and released cover art for it. Rather than releasing the album commercially, they have decided to drop their records labels for this release and give it away as a free download.
In early March, the band posted a demo of a song called, "Lies Irae", that had complete instrumentals and unintelligible vocals. The band invited fans to write the last chorus, bridge, and verse for the song on their website. Fans worked together with the band, and voted for their favorite lyrics. The band then finalized the lyrics on March 26.

This is an interview i had taken for the official Greek Dopestars Inc. fanclub, but since i am no longer administrator there due to lack of discussion and personal things going on as well i managed to post it at www.metalstorm.ee, it's a little bit old interview, some months ago it was conducted, but i will post it here for the support of Dopestars Inc., a band heavy enough to be listened by the fans of industrial/electro metal/rock scene. This interview is about their strong debut album and the big success it had in the industrial rock/metal press, talking about every possible aspect of it and other things as well. Victor Love of Dopestars Inc. is also member of the Suomi Metal oriented band My Sixth Shadow and Alex Vega, guitarist of the band, is also member of Klimt 1918. Some questions might be outdated, just very few concerning some live shows that have passed by now, but in its overall base the interview offers to the members of MS that are interested in this very scene/band to read some things about Dopestars Inc's debut album, "Neuromance", while the band is preparing its next attempt. A new interview will probably turn to life in the near or far future, but that's all for now.
First of all Victor i'd like to congratulate you on your fabulous debut album, "://Neuromance", and also thank you for the chance of interviewing you!
You are welcome !
How did you conceive the name Dopestars Inc.? Does it have anything to do with Marilyn Manson's "The Dope Show"?
Actually no eheh. We just emailed a large number of names and figured out the combination we liked the most. Especially we were looking for something that could express well the attitude of the band. Dope represents the addictive side of our music that is direct and in your face.
