Sarah’s Bio
Some know Sarah as the “the Flexible Neurotic”. Look at “about the podcast” for that definition. Lol.
Sarah has a personal journey of growing up in Los Angeles with two working parents. Mom this is for you: Sarah went to an Ivy League college and graduated from USC with a PhD in Educational Psychology. Hopes she learned something? After graduating from USC, Sarah taught in the graduate school at USC Rossier School of Education, many years ago. The highly motivated young Sarah with plans for a full-blown career, like her mother, disappeared as soon as she had her first child, Jake. Poof!
Sarah lives in Santa Monica with her husband of 18 years, Jeremy (OMG we met in high school), and her 16-year-old son (Jake) and 13-year-old daughter (Marin). There are two family dogs, Chance and Willow.
While in the bliss and trenches of raising her kids, Sarah has served on several philanthropic boards and a Los Angeles private school.
A few years ago, her oldest kid, Jake, said, “Mom, I have a few hundred dollars saved. I want you to have an office with your name on it. You do so much for Marin and me. You talk to us about everything. I think you should be able to help more people. Aren’t you a doctor anyway?”
Sarah’s daughter recently gave her a birthday gift that was a golden box filled with inscriptions from all her closest friends. After reading these, Sarah felt the urge to find a vessel to share her voice and the Flexible Neurotic Podcast was born...
Governor Sanders
Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the 47th Governor of Arkansas.
Inaugurated on January 10, 2023, she is the first woman to serve as governor of the state and currently is the youngest governor in the country.
Since taking office, Sarah has enacted transformational, conservative reforms. Those include Arkansas LEARNS, a sweeping overhaul of Arkansas’ education system, including higher teacher pay and universal school choice; public safety reforms to invest in prison space and get repeat offenders off the streets; tax cuts to give more taxpayer money back to Arkansans; the Natural State Initiative to grow Arkansas’ outdoor economy; and reforms to streamline state government.
In just her first 100 days, Sarah delivered the Republican response to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address, offering a bold vision for a new generation of conservative leadership.
Prior to her historic victory, Sarah served as White House Press Secretary for President Donald J. Trump from 2017 to 2019.
