When it comes to Helen Mirren, Harrison Forddoesn't mince words.

In an interview withPeople published on Thursday, February 20, Ford, 82, described Mirren, 79, as "what we used to call a broad," explaining that there's no disrespect intended in the term. "It means she's a woman who can hang with men — not just be a lady with them, but actually hang with them," Ford said of his 1923 costar. "She's a real cool lady."

The duo reunited for season 2 of 1923 – which is a Yellowstone prequel – as the Dutton family's formidable patriarch and matriarch, Jacob and Cara. While there was a significant gap between the first and second seasons –– season 1 premiering back in 2022 – Ford and Mirren's chemistry remained. "It's like your best friend in college that you haven't seen for like 30 years, but [once] — you're back, [it's] exactly [the same], only even better, actually."

Ford also isn't letting the box-office disappointment of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny get to him. In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal Magazine, the iconic actor shrugged off the film's underperformance, simply stating, "S**t happens." Ford explained that he was motivated to do the fifth installment of the franchise by the desire to explore Indy's life after the consequences of his past adventures. Despite the film's financial struggles, Ford remains proud of his work, saying, "I'm still happy [I] made that movie."

As for 1923, fans can catch the season 2 premiere on Paramount+ on Sunday, February 23.

Career

Clooney started his career in television, gaining wide recognition in his role as Dr. Doug Ross on the NBC medical drama ER from 1994 to 1999, for which he received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. During this time he would also attract a variety of leading roles in films, with his breakthrough role in From Dusk till Dawn (1996). He continued starring in films such as the superhero film Batman & Robin (1997), and Steven Soderbergh's Out of Sight (1998), David O. Russell's Three Kings, and the Coen brothers' O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000).

In 2001, Clooney's fame widened with the release of his biggest commercial success, Soderbergh's heist comedy remake Ocean's Eleven, the first of what became a trilogy, starring Clooney.
